At this event, Dr. Sutath Chotnapand gave a lecture on the ethical principles in research, focusing on the protection of the rights and safety of research participants. The event was honored with an opening speech by Dr. Li Sipin, the head of the Public Health Department. The content was translated into Chinese to help participants from China understand it better. The training was held both online and onsite (for 1 day) and was conducted in English.
Participants were introduced to research ethics topics such as obtaining consent, protecting personal data, and complying with Thai laws. After the training, participants took a comprehension test and received certificates of completion.
This program aims to enhance knowledge of research ethics and promote responsible research that respects the rights of participants, ensuring that human research adheres to internationally accepted standards.
