                                                                                           “Krirk University, Inclusive University”

Krirk University provides educational opportunities for students with disabilities to have access to the learning system. Education for students with disabilities is equal to that of regular students by providing a service unit or support services for teaching and learning as follows:

  1. Organize teaching and learning to suit learners with recommendations for teachers, and staff in organizing teaching and learning to suit students with disabilities in various areas, such as arranging appropriate seating, note-taking service, and extension of exam time.
  2. Technology services that facilitate teaching and learning for students with disabilities by installing software in the computer lab, for example installing ZoomText program for enlarging characters, JWS program, and screen magnification program.
  3. In the case of students with some kinds of disabilities, assistants are provided to take notes and read the exam aloud.
  4. Arrange a place and create an environment that is conducive to access to various buildings and places within the university.

Disabled access (main campus)

1. Support services : Krirk University offers a comprehensive support system for its students, including academic advisors to assist with educational concerns, dormitory consultants who provide guidance on campus living, and on-campus nurses who are available to offer both healthcare and mental health advice to students.

2. Built-in accessibility computer systems for visually impaired : Krirk University has implemented built-in accessibility computer systems to assist visually impaired students. These systems include the JAWS program for screen reading, which benefits visually impaired students, and ZoomText, which aids students with blurred vision. These tools are available in the computer room to enhance the learning experience for students with visual disabilities.

3. Sign language interpreters or note-takers for hearing-impaired students : Krirk University offers support for hearing-impaired students in the classroom. We provide sign language interpreters and a note-taking service. Since hearing-impaired students often rely on lip-reading, note-taking can be challenging for them. Therefore, we offer this service to enhance their learning experience.

4. Dedicated academic support for students with learning disabilities : Krirk University focuses on well-organized classroom placements, customized teaching materials to accommodate diverse learning needs, and scheduled breaks to support students who may have difficulty sitting for extended periods.

We have a strategy for people with disabilities.

We offer scholarships to people with disabilities.
