On Monday, August 10, 2026, the Subcommittee on Strengthening, Driving, and Monitoring Research and Development under the Senate Committee on Research and Development, accompanied by executives and staff from the Secretariat of the Senate, visited Krirk University at the university’s invitation. The visit aimed to hold a meeting, discuss relevant issues, and receive recommendations on approaches to supporting academic activities, research, and innovation.
The subcommittee, led by Mr. Chib Chitniyom, Chair of the Subcommittee, Associate Professor Lae Dilokwittayarat, and Dr. Withavee Pratumsawat, Member of the Senate, together with their delegation, participated in the discussion at the invitation of Associate Professor Dr. Panpan Chantranont, President of Krirk University. The university’s executive team welcomed the delegation and presented information on the development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology and research and development (R&D).
During the meeting, the subcommittee listened to recommendations and exchanged views with the university to make use of the academic information and innovation-related insights received in support of the legislative work of the Senate.
