On Friday, July 26, 2024 .Dr. Krirk Memorial Day began with a spiritual blessing ceremony and a Buddhist ritual in the morning. Following that, the main events of the day commenced in the late morning, with Professor Dr. Krasae Chanawongse presiding over the opening ceremony.
During the opening, students delivered a tribute speech in four languages: Thai, Chinese, English, and Arabic, as a heartfelt remembrance of Dr. Krirk. This was followed by the presentation of honorary plaques to outstanding alumni, as well as the awarding of various scholarships, including those from the Alumni Association, academic excellence scholarships in Chinese language, Student Committee scholarships, special talent scholarships, a scholarship from the Sheikhul Islam Office, the UD Scholarship, and sports scholarships.
In addition, Krirk University held a wreath-laying ceremony in remembrance of Dr. Krirk, with participation from both internal and external organizations. Attendees were also treated to performances by international students and a special show by the Office of Student Affairs, which added vibrancy and made the event all the more memorable.
