Krirk University Shares Sports Facilities with the Community to Promote Health and Well-being

Promoting Physical Activity and Healthy Lifestyles

Krirk University recognizes the importance of physical activity in promoting health and well-being. The University provides a variety of sports and fitness facilities, including badminton, volleyball, basketball, and table tennis areas, as well as a fitness room, offering students, university members, and the general public opportunities to participate in sports and exercise. These facilities accommodate different sporting interests, encourage regular physical activity, and support healthy lifestyles while extending the benefits of university sports resources to the wider community.

Sharing Sports Facilities with the Local Community

Krirk University makes its sports facilities available to members of the public for a fee of 50 baht per visit. Public users can access the sports facilities, including the fitness room, subject to the University’s applicable access arrangements. By extending access to people outside the University, Krirk University provides the local community with additional opportunities to participate in sports and physical exercise.

Contributing to SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being

By sharing its sports facilities with the public, Krirk University supports community access to spaces for physical activity and encourages participation in sports as part of a healthy lifestyle. This initiative contributes to the broader objectives of Sustainable Development Goal 3, which focuses on ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all. It also demonstrates how university facilities can serve both the campus population and the wider community.
