Krirk University’s Commitment to Student Sexual and Reproductive Health Services
Krirk University has always placed great importance on promoting the health and well-being of its students. One of the key areas of focus is sexual health and reproductive health services. The university recognizes the importance of equipping young people with accurate knowledge and resources to protect themselves and make responsible choices.
One notable initiative is the HIV/AIDS and Safe Sex Campaign for Students, organized through the collaboration between the Center for Academic and Social Services Promotion of Krirk University and the AIDS and Sexually Transmitted Diseases Division, Department of Disease Control, Ministry of Public Health. This program aims to raise awareness, prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS, and promote safe sex practices among students.
On June 5, 2025, a public health activity was organized in front of the university’s medical clinic. During this event, condoms, lubricants, and informative brochures about sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) prevention were distributed to students. The purpose was to provide free, accessible resources while also educating students on safe practices and the importance of protecting themselves and their partners.
Additionally, inside the university’s medical clinic, posters related to HIV knowledge were displayed, along with an HIV information stand. These educational materials explained basic facts about HIV, methods of prevention, and the various ways HIV can be transmitted. The purpose of these materials is to increase students’ understanding of HIV and reduce misconceptions, promoting a well-informed and supportive campus environment.
Through these ongoing efforts, Krirk University demonstrates its strong commitment to student welfare, sexual health education, and social responsibility.
