On 23 March 2024, the Student Loan Fund Division of the Student Affairs Office at Krirk University organized a volunteer activity under the project “KRU Volunteers Plant Mangroves and Create Growth” at the Mangrove Conservation Center, Ko Kham Subdistrict, Mueang District, Samut Sakhon Province.
The event was honored by Mr. Narin Boonruang, a lecturer from the Samut Sakhon Fisheries Association, who provided a lecture on the coastal seas of the Gulf of Thailand and various natural resources in the mangrove forest. He also taught how to plant mangrove trees to continue the preservation of coastal areas.
Krirk University students actively participated by planting 1-2 mangrove trees each and had the opportunity to experience the nature of the mangrove forest, including the muddy soil and various aquatic species.
