Neutral platform to discuss issues

On September 21, 2024, a seminar was held on the topic “Empowering Youth for Quality Leadership and Constructive Political Participation” at Room 2300, 3rd Floor. The event was once again honored by the presence of Mr. Wan Muhamad Noor Matha, who served as a guest speaker.

The seminar began with a welcome address and opening remarks from Dr. Ampol Khamwilai, Assistant Executive Director for International Relations at Krirk University. He outlined the objectives of the seminar, which focused on developing the potential of young people to become quality leaders in the future.

Following this, Khun Worarak Srisaard, Political Advisor to the President of the House of Representatives and a board member of the Wasatiyah Institute for Peace and Development under the Sheikhul Islam Office, officially opened the event by delivering a keynote speech titled “Political Development in a Democratic System.” His address emphasized the importance of participation in the political process and served as a great source of inspiration for the attendees.

Subsequently, Mr. Wan Muhamad Noor Matha delivered a lecture on “The Role of Parliament and the People,” offering new perspectives on strengthening the relationship between parliament and the public. He highlighted the critical role of youth as emerging leaders who are essential to the nation’s development.
