On Monday, July 15, 2024, the Career Guidance and Employment Center under the Student Affairs Division at Krirk University organized the project “Dek Krirk: Independent Career Training (Candle Casting for Buddhist Lent)” in preparation for the candle offering ceremony at Wat Phra Si Mahathat Wora Maha Viharn on Friday, July 19, 2024, in observance of Asalha Bucha Day and the beginning of Buddhist Lent (July 21, 2024).
The event was attended by a large number of staff, as well as Thai and international students, who participated in molding candles into flower shapes, Buddha images, and more, all of which will be offered to Wat Phra Si Mahathat.




On August 8, 2024, the Career Guidance and Employment Center under the Office of Student Affairs at Krirk University organized the project “Dek Krirk: Independent Career Training (Velvet Wire Jasmine Flower Crafting)” in celebration of National Mother’s Day on August 12, 2024.
The event was attended by a large number of university personnel as well as Thai and international students, who participated in crafting jasmine flowers and creating their own original floral designs as heartfelt gifts for Mother’s Day.




On November 15, 2024, the Career Guidance and Employment Center organized a workshop on making krathongs (floating offerings) from puffed rice, with the aim of promoting the preservation of Thai culture and raising environmental awareness. The activity was joined by Thai and Chinese students, along with university staff, who participated in crafting creative krathongs in a joyful and lively atmosphere.




On September 17, 2024, the Career Guidance and Employment Center under the Office of Student Affairs at Krirk University organized the project “Dek Krirk: Independent Career Training (Mooncake Making)” to celebrate and preserve the Mid-Autumn Festival. This festival reflects a harmonious blend of traditional Chinese culture and the Thai way of life.
There is a belief that making wishes under the full moon increases the chances of those wishes coming true. In addition, the tradition of sharing mooncakes with neighbors, relatives, and colleagues symbolizes goodwill and kind intentions. This practice aligns closely with Thai cultural values of sharing and generosity.
